In 1882, in a Hope Street Pub, a number of Glasgow Publicans formed The Glasgow Royalty Burns Club.
In 1886 The Glasgow Royalty Burns Club became No.9 in the Roll of the Burns Federation.
Meetings were held on the last Thursday of the month from October to March.
In 1893 there were being held in the Alexandra Hotel, Bath Street with sixty members.
Meetings are now held in the Òran Mór, the home to the Royalty Burns Club.
The Club is run by the President, who has a two-year term, the Vice President, the Treasurer, the Secretary and up to 16 Committee Members.
The Clubs Annual General Meeting is at the end of March each year.
